Qhubeka is a global charity that moves people forward with bicycles in Africa.
People earn bicycles through our programmes, improving their access to schools, clinics
and jobs. A bicycle is a tool that helps people to travel faster and further, to generate
income and to carry more. In the face of extreme and persistent poverty, bicycles can
change lives by helping to address socioeconomic challenges at the most basic level –
helping people to get where they need to go.

How Qhubeka works..
Qhubeka is an Nguni word that means “to progress”, “to move forward”.
Bicycles help people move forward. With a bicycle, a person can travel faster and further,
and carry more. Bicycles help people to change their lives. They are an accessible,
reliable, affordable form of personal transport

Our goal for 2023..
we plan to race events throughout Europe on both Gravel and Road. Wearing Qhubeka labeled clothes and bikes, we hope to raise awareness for the cause and sell bikes and clothes through out network. The raised funds go towards producing bicycles in Africa, so that kids get to school. Get an education and lead a normal life, something that we take for granted in Europe.

If you enjoy cycling and want help us raise awareness for Qhubeka.
We are looking for recreational cyclists who are active on social media, Instagram. Blogging, Youtube to help us create content during the year.
You should be able to complete at least three of the above events. A certain level of physical fitness is a must.
What do you get..
Full Qhubeka cycling kit, Pearl casual clothes, HJC Helmet, Northwave shoes and a Pearl Gravel bike for the season. Entry fees for all races are paid.
